Paraplanner

Gloucester | Up to £50,000 | Full-Time | Office-Based

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing independent financial planning firm in Gloucester as they continue to expand their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner looking to join a supportive, collaborative business that offers genuine career progression and long-term development.

Working closely with a team of Financial Advisers, you’ll play a key role in the advice process, providing high-quality technical support and helping to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.

The Role

  • Produce accurate and compliant suitability reports across pensions, investments, and protection.
  • Carry out technical research and product comparisons to support adviser recommendations.
  • Prepare client documentation and ensure all advice files are completed to a high standard.
  • Liaise with advisers, providers, and internal teams to keep cases progressing efficiently.
  • Assist with the end-to-end financial planning process, ensuring a smooth client journey.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory changes and industry developments.
  • Contribute to improving internal processes and supporting the continued growth of the business.

About You

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (desirable).
  • Previous paraplanning experience within an IFA environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and protection.
  • Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a genuine passion for financial planning.
