Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking for a varied role within a highly regarded boutique wealth management firm?

We are recruiting on behalf of an established, independent financial planning business based in the heart of Central London. With a long-standing reputation for delivering personalised financial advice to high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients, the firm offers expertise across pensions, investments, estate planning and protection. Operating from offices in Marylebone, they pride themselves on providing a tailored, client-centric service.

This is a rare opportunity to join a close-knit and professional team in a broad, influential position that combines technical paraplanning with operational and business support responsibilities.

The Role

Working closely with the Principal Adviser, you will play a key role in supporting the advice process while helping to drive business efficiency and client service standards.

  • Preparing suitability reports and financial planning recommendations
  • Conducting technical research across pensions, investments and protection products
  • Supporting advice involving onshore and offshore bonds
  • Processing and implementing new business
  • Maintaining and developing CRM systems and client records
  • Assisting with process improvement and systems research projects
  • Supporting marketing initiatives and business development activity
  • Preparing documentation for client meetings
  • Attending client meetings where appropriate, taking notes and assisting with follow-up actions
  • Utilising AI-driven tools to support report writing and administrative efficiency

About You

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4) as a minimum
  • Around 5+ years’ experience within an IFA or wealth management environment
  • Strong paraplanning and report-writing experience
  • Experience using IO (Intelligent Office) CRM systems
  • Good knowledge of pensions and investment products
  • Understanding of onshore and offshore bonds
  • Experience with M&G platforms would be advantageous
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive and self-sufficient approach to work

We’re particularly interested in candidates who can work autonomously, think creatively, challenge appropriately when required, and build a strong working relationship with a highly experienced adviser.

What’s on Offer?

  • Salary of £45,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
  • Most candidates are expected to fall within the £50,000 – £55,000 range

Working Arrangements
