Looking for a Paraplanning role where your expertise is genuinely valued? We're working with a highly respected and growing financial planning firm seeking an experienced Level 4 Diploma qualified Paraplanner to join their supportive and collaborative team in Wakefield.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technical Paraplanner who enjoys working closely with advisers, contributing to positive client outcomes, and developing their career within a business that actively supports progression and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed research across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning.
  • Prepare high-quality suitability reports and recommendation letters.
  • Produce and maintain client review packs and supporting documentation.
  • Support advisers with technical queries and financial planning strategies.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with FCA regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with advisers, administrators, and compliance teams to deliver an excellent client experience.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal processes and client service standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

  • CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 2 years paraplanning experience within a financial planning or wealth management environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and protection.
  • Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
  • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
