About the Company

Join an award-winning wealth management business at TFAS Wealth, where we believe financial advice should be straightforward, personal and built around long-term relationships. Recognised as Financial Advisory Firm of the Year 2026 at the Wealth and Asset Management Awards, we're proud of the high standards of fully independent financial advice we provide to clients across the UK year on year.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join our Wealth team and play a key role in turning high-quality financial planning into clear, well-researched and compliant advice. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of financial planning, takes pride in producing excellent work and wants to be trusted to research, challenge and help shape suitable client recommendations. You'll work closely with our Financial Advisers and wider support team across a broad range of advice areas, with pensions and investments forming a significant part of the role.

37.5 hours per week, typically worked Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm (4pm Friday finish).

Pay and Benefits

£35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience and qualifications). Hybrid working options, minimum of 3 office days per week.

  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays increasing by 1 day each year after 3 years service (maximum of 5 additional days)
  • Buying and selling annual leave scheme (up to 5 additional days)
  • 4pm finish every Friday
  • Annual performance-related Company bonus and salary review
  • 5% Employer pension contribution
  • 4x salary Death in Service cover
  • 24/7 access to our Employee Assistance Programme
  • Support for continuous professional development and further study
  • Regular team and social events
  • Free mortgage advice

Responsibilities

  • Research and Recommendation: Analyse client circumstances, objectives, existing arrangements and adviser discussions to carry out appropriate product, platform, fund and solution research and help formulate suitable recommendations for adviser review.
  • Suitability Report Writing: Prepare clear, accurate and high-quality suitability reports across pensions, investments, retirement planning, protection, IHT and estate planning, trusts and other relevant advice areas, including new business and ongoing advice.
  • Pensions and Investments: Support a broad range of pension accumulation and decumulation advice, investment planning, consolidation, drawdown and retirement strategies, applying strong technical knowledge and appropriate research.
  • Technical Support: Act as a knowledgeable technical resource for Financial Advisers and colleagues, helping to answer technical queries, explain research and recommendations, and identify when specialist or further technical input is required.
  • Client Information and Case Review: Review fact finds, existing plan information and supporting documentation, identify gaps or inconsistencies and ensure sufficient information is available before advice is finalised.
  • Systems and Research Tools: Maintain accurate case records and supporting documentation on Intelliflo and use systems including Defaqto and FE Analytics effectively as part of the research and report-writing process.
  • Client Contact: Work primarily through the adviser relationship, while communicating directly with clients where appropriate to obtain clarification or information needed to progress a case.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure recommendations, reports and supporting documentation are clear, accurate, evidence-based and completed in line with regulatory requirements, internal standards and agreed quality expectations.
  • Case Ownership and Service Standards: Manage a varied paraplanning workload, prioritising effectively, meeting agreed KPIs and SLAs, and keeping advisers updated on progress, outstanding requirements and potential delays.
  • Knowledge and Development: Keep up to date with relevant product, tax, technical, legislative and regulatory developments and apply changes appropriately to client work.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Financial Advisers, administrators and colleagues across the business to support an efficient, joined-up client journey and consistently high standards of service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
