Paraplanner

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Work Pattern: Full-time, Hybrid Working (1-2 Days Office Based)

Salary: Up to £50,000 (Negotiable for the Right Candidate) + Excellent Work-Life Balance

Are you a technically strong Paraplanner looking to join a genuinely boutique independent financial planning firm where your work will have a direct impact?

We are working with a highly regarded independent financial advice firm based in Aylesbury that is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support two established advisers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team where you’ll enjoy a broad and varied role, significant autonomy, and flexible hybrid working.

The Opportunity

This is not a role where you’ll be siloed into one part of the advice process. Instead, you’ll be involved in the full client journey, providing comprehensive paraplanning support and acting as a key technical resource for the advisers.

As the sole Paraplanner supporting the advisory team, you’ll be trusted to manage your workload independently while playing a central role in delivering high-quality financial planning advice to clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
