Job Title

This is a paraplanning role with genuine substance — at a firm that has built its name on thoughtful, personalised financial planning, for clients whose financial lives span the full spectrum — from driven entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals still actively building their wealth, to those who have reached a point where protecting and passing it on wisely matters most.

About the Role

The business is small, close-knit, and deliberately so. Every person in the team contributes to something that feels considered rather than transactional, and the paraplanner here plays a central role in that. Working directly alongside the financial planning team, you will be responsible for:

  • Producing technically accurate and compliant financial plans, cashflow models and recommendation reports
  • Carrying out product and investment research
  • Preparing meeting documentation
  • Ensuring that every piece of work that reaches a client reflects the firm's commitment to clarity and care

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Cashflow modelling experience, ideally using Voyant, is important in this role.

Responsibilities

The clients are high-net-worth individuals, and the advice spans the full range of financial planning — pensions and retirement planning, investment and wealth management, protection, inheritance, and tax planning. You will need to be technically strong across all of these areas and comfortable translating that technical knowledge into something that is meaningful in order for your client to understand and act upon.
