Paraplanner – Hybrid Working – Excellent Career Progression Available
Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE
I’m working with a well-established Chartered independent financial planning business in Bristol that is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join its friendly and growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of financial planning and wants to work closely with experienced Financial Planners on a varied range of client cases.
My client genuinely invests in its people and offers excellent long-term progression with the business, making this a very strong career move for the right candidate.
The Opportunity
As a Paraplanner, you’ll play an important role in supporting the Financial Planners, providing technical research, analysis and high-quality client documentation to help deliver a first-class financial planning service.
You’ll be involved across a broad range of financial planning areas, including pensions, investments, protection, long-term care and inheritance tax planning, with the opportunity to gain exposure to more complex cases and planning strategies.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
