In this Paraplanner job, you will play a key role supporting Financial Advisers by producing high quality research and suitability reports across a wide spectrum of financial planning work. You will work closely with Advisers and fellow Paraplanners in a dedicated support model, allowing you to build strong relationships and gain a clear understanding of each adviser’s clients and advice approach.
The Paraplanner role offers variety, with involvement in annual reviews, new business cases, and ongoing client planning. While the work is not heavily specialist, there is enough technical depth to remain engaging and technically rewarding. Paraplanner Responsibilities
- Undertaking financial planning research to support client advice
- Preparing suitability reports using structured templates and bespoke formats
- Reviewing and analysing existing investment portfolios
- Supporting annual reviews and ongoing servicing cases
- Keeping knowledge up to date with regulatory and legislative changes
Paraplanner Requirements
- Essential experience working as a Paraplanner within an IFA or financial planning firm
- Essential Diploma in Financial Planning or close to completion
- Proven experience producing suitability reports and research documentation
- Desirable exposure to a broad range of planning cases
- High level of technical accuracy and attention to detail

Paraplanner Benefits
- Salary circa £38,000 to £44,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid working arrangement with three days in the office and two days from home
