An Outstanding Opportunity for an Experienced Paraplanner

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join one of the UK's leading independent wealth management businesses, working within a specialist Private Wealth team that advises high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and international clients.

This is a genuinely different opportunity from a traditional IFA environment. Rather than focusing heavily on pensions, protection and mortgages, you'll become part of a sophisticated wealth management team delivering holistic financial planning alongside discretionary investment management, providing clients with a fully integrated approach to preserving, growing and transferring wealth.

You'll work alongside highly experienced Wealth Advisers, Investment Managers and technical specialists, supporting a dedicated portfolio of complex private clients with investable assets typically starting from around £5 million and extending well beyond £50 million.

The Opportunity

This role offers exposure to an exceptionally high calibre of client and work. You'll support advisers with complex wealth planning cases, produce high-quality technical reports and suitability letters, undertake detailed research and cashflow modelling, and play an active role in client meetings and ongoing relationship management.

Unlike many paraplanning roles, there is significant client interaction, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships and wants to become more involved in the advisory process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
