Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking to take the next step in your financial planning career? Join our Cambridge Wealth Planning team and play a key role supporting Wealth Planners in delivering high-quality, holistic financial advice that truly makes a difference to clients’ futures.

The Opportunity

Our Paraplanners are central to delivering great client outcomes. Working closely with Wealth Planners, you’ll carry out in-depth research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning to help shape tailored financial solutions.

  • Prepare clear and client-focused suitability reports
  • Support cashflow modelling
  • Contribute ideas that help our team continuously improve how we serve clients

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct detailed research and analysis across a full range of financial planning products
  • Prepare accurate cashflow models and suitability reports that inform client recommendations
  • Ensure all work meets FCA standards and internal compliance requirements
  • Proactively spot opportunities for further advice and support Wealth Planners in delivering a seamless client experience
  • Keep your technical knowledge up to date and contribute to process improvement and best practice sharing across the team

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience providing high-quality paraplanning support within a financial planning environment
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection products
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
  • RQF Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
  • Ambition to work towards Chartered Financial Planner status (desirable)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with XPlan or cashflow planning tools is a plus
