Our client is a national, market-leading financial planning organisation with offices across the UK and an exceptional reputation within the industry. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Paraplanner who is looking to develop their career within a highly respected organisation, working alongside experienced Financial Planners and Senior Paraplanners in a professional and supportive environment.
The role offers hybrid working, a competitive salary of up to £50,000, and excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development.
The Role
As a Paraplanner, you will provide high-quality technical and paraplanning support to Financial Planners and their clients, assisting throughout the financial planning and advice process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing high-quality suitability reports and client recommendations.
- Undertaking detailed research and analysis across a range of financial planning areas.
- Supporting Financial Planners with the preparation and implementation of client advice.
- Preparing cash-flow analysis and other financial planning documentation where required.
- Conducting research into investments, pensions, protection and other financial planning solutions.
- Assisting with client review and meeting preparation.
- Liaising with providers and internal teams to ensure recommendations are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high technical and regulatory standard.
- Supporting the Financial Planners in delivering an excellent client experience.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of current financial planning legislation, regulation and best practice.

About You
We are looking for an experienced Paraplanner who is keen to develop their career within a leading financial planning organisation. Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience working as a Paraplanner within an IFA, wealth management or financial planning environment.
- The Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent qualification, ideally completed or close to completion.
- Strong technical knowledge across areas such as pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
- Experience producing suitability reports and undertaking financial planning research.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional, collaborative and client-focused approach.
- A genuine desire to continue developing your technical knowledge and career within financial planning.
