London | Office-based
£40k-£50k + Bonus
We are working with a well-established London HQ Wealth Management firm (circa £5b AUM) that is looking to strengthen its team with the addition of a Paraplanner.
Key Responsibilities
- Working alongside Financial Planners to prepare for client meetings and advice reviews
- Reviewing client fact finds, objectives and existing financial arrangements
- Undertaking technical and product research
- Preparing suitability reports and recommendation documentation
- Supporting advice relating to pensions, investments, retirement planning and protection
- Producing financial planning calculations and supporting analysis
- Assisting with cashflow modelling where appropriate
- Reviewing provider and platform information
- Ensuring all advice files meet internal compliance and regulatory requirements
- Supporting advisers with technical queries and more complex client cases
- Keeping client records and case notes accurate and up to date
- Working closely with administration, operations and compliance teams to ensure cases progress efficiently

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with experience within financial planning, wealth management or an IFA environment who is keen to continue developing as a Paraplanner.
Ideally, you will:
- Hold the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, or currently be working towards it
- Have previous paraplanning, technical support or financial planning experience
- Have a good understanding of pensions and investment products
- Be comfortable researching and interpreting technical information
- Have experience preparing suitability reports or supporting regulated advice
- Have strong written and numerical skills
- Be organised, accurate and capable of managing multiple cases
- Be comfortable working closely with advisers and other members of the wider team

Full Level 4 qualification is not essential where candidates can demonstrate relevant experience and are actively progressing towards the qualification.
