Salary: Up to £58,000 + benefits
Working Pattern: Office-based initially, with hybrid working post probation
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, Diploma-qualified Paraplanner to join a growing financial planning business in Swindon, providing high-quality technical support to Financial Advisers and helping deliver excellent client outcomes.
This is an opportunity for a technically strong and organised professional who takes pride in producing accurate, well-researched and compliant financial planning recommendations. You'll play a key role in preparing personalised suitability reports, conducting technical research and supporting cases throughout the advice process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical research and analysis across pensions, investments and wider financial planning.
- Prepare clear, accurate and compliant suitability reports and recommendation documents.
- Review client circumstances and research appropriate financial products, providers and solutions.
- Support Financial Advisers with technical queries and complex client cases.
- Work closely with administrators to ensure cases progress smoothly and recommendations are implemented efficiently.
- Manage allocated cases proactively, maintaining high standards of accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Keep up to date with regulatory developments and contribute to improving internal processes.

About You
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within an IFA environment.
- Strong experience in paraplanning, technical research and suitability report writing.
- Good technical knowledge of pensions and investments.
- Excellent written communication, analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Able to manage your workload, take ownership of cases and work collaboratively with advisers and administrators.
