Paraplanner / Senior Paraplanner

Edinburgh | Up to £50,000 + Bonus + Outstanding Benefits

An ambitious and rapidly expanding national Financial Planning business is looking to recruit both a Paraplanner and a Senior Paraplanner as part of the continued growth of its Edinburgh office.

These are genuine growth opportunities created through continued expansion, not replacement hires. Further recruitment is expected as the business continues to invest in Scotland.

The company has built an excellent reputation for developing its people, promoting from within and offering long-term career opportunities across Technical, Financial Planning and Leadership roles.

The Roles

Paraplanner
Ideal for someone with around 12 months' Paraplanning experience who is looking to continue developing their technical knowledge within a supportive environment.

  • You'll prepare suitability reports, undertake technical research and work closely with Financial Planners to deliver high-quality advice to clients.
  • Applicants will ideally hold the Level 4 Diploma, although candidates who are close to achieving this will also be considered.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
