Paraplanner / Trainee Financial Adviser

Bromley, Kent | Hybrid / Remote | Employed

Silverwood Financial Solutions is growing, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us. This role could suit an experienced Paraplanner who wants to become an Adviser, or an existing / recently qualified Adviser looking for the right environment to develop.

You’ll work closely with our advisers and look after Silverwood clients, gaining real exposure to the full financial planning process.

What you'll be doing

  • Looking after and building relationships with existing Silverwood clients
  • Carrying out technical research across pensions, investments, retirement and protection
  • Preparing financial plans, recommendations and suitability reports
  • Building and presenting cashflow models
  • Supporting advisers with client meetings and taking on more client-facing responsibility as you develop
  • Analysing pensions and investments and identifying planning opportunities
  • Liaising with providers and managing cases through to completion
  • Using the 2plan system and maintaining accurate, compliant client records
  • Helping deliver a genuinely high-quality client experience

About you

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working within an IFA / financial planning business
  • Has strong technical knowledge of pensions and investments
  • Is confident with research and financial planning
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Enjoys working directly with clients
  • Is ambitious and wants to progress
  • Has Level 4 qualifications, or is working towards them
  • Has experience with cashflow modelling (desirable rather than essential)
