Senior Paraplanner – Private Wealth
London | Up to £70,000 + Exceptional Bonus & Benefits | Hybrid Working
We are working exclusively with one of the leading names in the UK wealth management and financial planning sector to recruit an experienced Senior Paraplanner for their London Wealth Planning team.
This is a high-quality opportunity for an accomplished Paraplanner who enjoys the technical side of financial planning and is looking to build a long-term career within Paraplanning rather than viewing the role simply as a stepping stone into advice.
You’ll join an established team working with HNW and UHNW private clients, supporting highly experienced Wealth Planners with sophisticated and often complex financial planning requirements. Each Paraplanner works closely with two Wealth Planners and is supported by a dedicated Client Support Executive, allowing you to focus on higher-level technical and client work.
The position offers genuine client exposure. You’ll attend meetings alongside Wealth Planners, develop trusted relationships with clients, research and assess appropriate planning solutions and produce high-quality recommendations. As a senior member of the team, you’ll also act as a technical point of contact and help support the development of less experienced colleagues.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
