Up to £45,000 DOE | Hybrid Working with Flexibility | Exeter

An established and growing financial planning firm based in Exeter is seeking to strengthen its paraplanning function. Operating in a professional, client-focused environment, the business supports individuals and families with long-term financial planning across investments, pensions, and wealth management. The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for Trainee, Junior, or experienced Paraplanners to join a collaborative technical team, with responsibilities tailored to your experience and qualifications. The role supports financial advisers by producing high-quality suitability reports and technical documentation, while contributing to a smooth and compliant client journey. The position offers clear progression, ongoing development, and flexibility through a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities for the Paraplanner:

  • Prepare suitability reports, annual reviews, and technical documentation in line with FCA requirements, appropriate to your level
  • Support advisers and the wider client services team throughout the client lifecycle, from onboarding to ongoing reviews
  • Liaise with clients, providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information flow
  • Maintain up-to-date and compliant records within the firm’s CRM and systems

Requirements for the Paraplanner:

  • Trainee-level candidates with a strong interest in financial planning and a desire to develop professionally are encouraged to apply
  • Junior and Paraplanner level candidates will have relevant paraplanning experience within financial services
  • Progress toward, or completion of, CII qualifications such as RO1 to RO6, depending on level
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidence working with technical documentation
