Are you an ambitious Paraplanner looking to develop your technical expertise within a highly regarded financial planning firm?
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our growing technical team. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone progressing towards their Level 4 Diploma who wants exposure to complex financial planning cases, ongoing professional development, and a clear pathway for career progression.
Working closely with experienced Advisers, Technical Consultants, and Senior Paraplanners, you’ll play a key role in delivering high quality financial planning solutions and ensuring clients receive exceptional advice.

The Role
As a Paraplanner, you’ll provide essential technical and administrative support to the advisory team, helping to ensure advice is delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with regulatory requirements.
You will be involved in all stages of the advice process, from research and analysis through to suitability report preparation and case completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support across a range of complex advice areas, including pensions, retirement planning, inheritance tax planning, and income strategies.
- Conduct detailed research and analysis to support financial planning recommendations.
- Assist Advisers and Senior Paraplanners in preparing high-quality suitability reports and client documentation.
- Gather and interpret technical information for client cases.
- Ensure all client records and documentation are accurately maintained, compliant, and audit-ready.
- Liaise with product providers and internal teams to obtain information and progress cases efficiently.
- Support the delivery of tailored financial planning solutions for high-net-worth and complex client portfolios.

Requirements
- Experience working in a Paraplanning, Trainee Paraplanning, or Technical Support role within financial services.
- Working towards, or recently achieved, the CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
- Strong understanding of pensions, investments, and financial planning principles.
- Excellent report writing and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- A proactive approach and desire to develop technical expertise.
