Parent Carer Project Worker
Hours: 28 per week
Pay: £28,410 pa pro rata
Location: Newcastle
We are looking for a friendly and approachable Parent Carer Project Worker to join our Family Advice and Support Team.
You will work alongside parents and carers of children and young people with SEND, helping them get the information, support and opportunities they need.
The role will include:
- Delivering workshops and information sessions.
- Providing some 1:1 support, information and advice.
- Helping parent carers understand their rights and options.
- Supporting people to have their voices heard.
- Recruiting and supporting volunteer Peer Mentors.
- Organising events and activities.
- Working with local services and professionals.
