Responsibilities

The Growing Little Minds Team in Calderdale is a new evolving Parent Infant Relationship team. It currently consists of a Consultant Parent-Infant Psychotherapist (specialist Child Psychotherapist) specialist Health Visitors who have training in Circle of Security, Newborn Behavioural Observation, baby massage, and VIG (video interactional guidance).

The service is developing strong links with members across the network including neonatal, the family hubs, therapeutic social care, and those who struggle with accessing services more generally. We also have a Dad Matters Coordinator as part of the team who supports the parent infant pathway for dads and partners.

We are growing the team and have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Child Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist/Parent-Infant Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist.

The main purpose of this new role is to widen our reach in Calderdale in providing Parent-Infant Psychoanalytic work, including offering clinics (individual and groups) and consultation in the community and there will also be opportunities to develop training. The post holder will have links across the Family Hub network and Calderdale partners. They will be part of a passionate, developing team who are ambitious in their support of babies in Calderdale and the infant voice. There will be opportunities to undertake further training and CPD as the role requires.
