About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced, commercially minded Park Manager to lead one of our successful Partington’s Holiday Parks, Tarn House Holiday Park in Skipton and bring the Partington’s lifestyle to life every day.

This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for the overall performance of the park and the delivery of agreed sales targets, from sales and profitability to customer experience, team development and the day-to-day running of the business.

You’ll be the face of Partington’s on Park, with the drive and motivation to attract new customers, grow sales and make your park the place people want to visit, stay and make precious memories.

Because being a Park Manager at Partington’s isn’t simply about running a successful holiday park.

It’s about creating a place where owners are happy, teams are proud to work and people genuinely feel that every day can be a holiday.

You’ll be an ambassador for our lifestyle brand and our vision:

TO MAKE EVERY DAY FEEL LIKE A HOLIDAY.

Your Mission

Your role is to make your park the best it can be.

  • Lead the team, drive commercial performance and create an experience that makes people want to visit, stay, return and ultimately become an owner for many years.
  • Have a strong focus on sales and growth, identifying opportunities across the park and making sure we’re maximising every opportunity to sell holiday homes and create happy, long term owners.
  • Understand that selling a holiday home is about much more than the holiday home itself. It’s about helping people imagine a different lifestyle, more time together, friendships, freedom, experiences and years of memories.
  • Once they become owners, your role doesn’t stop.
  • Help create a park community where people love being owners, feel looked after and are proud to call Partington’s their home away from home.

Because we believe happy owners are at the heart of a successful park.

What You’ll Be Doing

Drive Sales and Commercial Performance

  • Take ownership of the park’s financial performance, revenue and profitability.
  • Maximise holiday home sales, identifying opportunities to optimise the park, available pitches and holiday home stock.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand performance, leads, stock and opportunities, taking action where needed to maximise results.
  • Ensure the park is presented in a way that inspires prospective owners and showcases the Partington’s lifestyle.
  • Develop a strong sales culture across the park, ensuring everyone understands how their role contributes to the customer journey and overall performance.
  • Monitor sales targets and performance, using data and insight to identify opportunities and take action.
  • Look for opportunities to increase revenue across the park’s facilities, services and retail operations.
  • Ensure sales processes, documentation, deposits, pricing and financial information are managed accurately and in line with company policy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
