Park Ranger at Rutland Water

Permanent / Full Time

From £26,500 per annum (rising with length of service and performance)

Be at the Heart of Rutland Water

You’ll work alongside the team in all weather – repairing, cleaning, patrolling, checking, and problem-solving – while inspiring to deliver excellent customer service and maintaining the site to the highest standard.

If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, solving practical challenges, this role is for you.

What the role entails:

As Rutland Water is operational 7 days a week, 52 weeks per year (excluding Christmas Day), you will need to be flexible to work across peak seasons, major events within the calendar and step in to help across the site where needed. Typically, you work longer days in the summer and shorter days in the winter.

Customer engagement:

  • Welcome and assist visitors and anglers on-site, answering questions and ensuring they have a great experience.
  • Promote the Anglian Water brand and all our water parks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
