We’re looking for a hardworking, friendly, and enthusiastic Park Warden to join our close-knit team. This is a live-in role with accommodation provided on park — ideal for anyone who loves the outdoors, enjoys meeting people, and takes pride in maintaining a beautiful environment.

The Details
- Hours: Minimum of 40 hours Monday to Sunday (including evenings, on-calls, weekends, and school holidays)
- Location: Bay View, Bolton le Sands, Carnforth
- Reports to: Park Manager
What You’ll Do
As a Park Warden, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience — keeping our parks looking their best and ensuring every visitor feels welcome.
You will be hands on and active, looking after the cleanliness and presentation of our 5-star shower facilities, bar building, hire fleet accommodation, including caravans, pods and cottages, as well as on-park facilities which are open to members of the public, holiday makers, and holiday homeowners. You are expected to lead by example to ensure that deadlines are met with all guests experiencing exceptional customer service alongside the highest standards of cleanliness. You are responsible for ensuring that work is carried out efficiently, and that you achieve consistently high standards whilst meeting all necessary health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining to the highest standard our touring facilities, caravans, pods, cottages, and holiday home sales units.
- Welcoming touring guests and escorting them to their allocated pitches and being the welcoming yet professional face of the park, greeting them, and pointing out the locations of the on-site facilities.
- Perform on-call duties, including site and/or alarm call outs, site & security checks, and facilities checks outside of normal working hours.
- Assisting Management in any sales functions upon request.
- Delivery of holiday home gas bottles under Health & Safety guidelines and recording thereof.
- Deal with conflict management of any situations that may arise at any time, including out of hours on-call periods. Reporting to the Park Manager in detail any situations, persons, and resolutions or further appropriate actions, with support to Management to achieve a favourable outcome.
- Perform a variety of groundwork, job sheet work, and maintenance checks & duties as instructed by the Park Manager and/or Assistant Park Manager, under appropriate training and Health & safety Guidelines/COSHH Regulations.
- Liaise with customers daily, investigating, handling, and resolving any issues/customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
- Participate in and be actively involved in promoting park facilities, products, and activities.
- Inspection of touring/seasonal touring units and awnings during inclement weather and report & photograph any damage to Reception to liaise with owners where necessary.
- Report all customer lost property to Reception or Management.
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of all stock, equipment, and keys throughout the working day.
- Perform regular park Health & Safety Checks and recording thereof reporting immediately any anomalies which may result in harm to staff and/or customers.
- Take responsibility for all equipment, ensuring the good working order through routine maintenance, checks/inspections, organizing repairs promptly as required, or refer to an appropriate Manager.
- Monitor accommodation units and complex for signs of damage/theft, notifying a Manager as required.
- Liaise with and observe outside contractors whilst on site to ensure safety of units, facilities, staff & customers.
- Ensure that standards of personal appearance and hygiene are maintained in line with Company requirements.
- Ensure compliance to statutory and company regulations and health & safety guidelines including fire and emergency, follow correct procedures, and wear appropriate PPE as applicable.
- Ensure that chemicals and equipment are only used by appropriately in line with COSHH regulations and risk assessments.
- Ensure that all relevant health and safety checks are undertaken, and that any potential risks or hazards are reported promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company and park policies and procedures.
- Always comply with data protection regulations and company procedures when handling employee and/or customer details. Such information must not be communicated to anyone other than authorized persons.

Essential
- A full UK driving licence for manual vehicles
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Adaptable, reliable, and detail-oriented
Desirable
- Previous experience as a Holiday Park Warden
