Babington are supporting NSL for a Modern apprenticeship opportunity as a Parking Attendant in Edinburgh.

What does a Parking Attendant do?
As a Parking Attendant, you'll be out and about in the local community, helping to keep streets safe, accessible and welcoming for everyone.
You'll
- Help members of the public understand local parking regulations
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Patrol local streets
- Support safe, fair and accessible parking across the community
- Report abandoned vehicles and equipment issues
- Issue Penalty Charge Notices where parking regulations are not being followed
- Work independently while also being part of a supportive team

What will I learn?
You will gain valuable work experience and confidence dealing with customers. Skills in communication, problem solving and responsibility.
Great opportunity to work towards a SQA recognised qualification, while working with a trusted employer supporting you develop your skills and knowledge.
What qualifications or qualities are required?
No previous experience is required. We're looking for people who are:
- Friendly, approachable and confident
- Great communicators who enjoy helping others
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Responsible and self-motivated
- Able to stay calm and professional in challenging situations
- Eager to learn and develop new skills

We'll provide all the training, mentoring and support you need throughout your apprenticeship journey.
