Do you want to help keep East Sussex moving? We have an exciting opportunity for a Parking Review Officer to join our award-winning parking team and support work that helps people make safe and reliable journeys across the county.

Working for East Sussex County Council gives you the opportunity to make a positive difference to local communities. You’ll join a supportive, experienced team that works flexibly while maintaining a strong team identity.

As a Parking Review Officer, you will carry out parking reviews across the County and provide specialist support to colleagues on Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs), the legal documents used to introduce and manage traffic and parking restrictions. You will help progress both permanent and temporary TROs through the statutory process, supporting the delivery of schemes that improve how roads are used across East Sussex.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • A commitment to training and personal development
  • A flexible approach and the ability to work well as part of a team

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
