Role Description
This is a full-time, in-office role based in Windsor or Southampton for a Part 1 or Part 2 Architectural Assistant. The Architectural Assistant will support project teams with the preparation of technical drawings and architectural drawings across a variety of sectors and building types. - Assisting with concept development
- Producing drawings and design documentation
- Contributing to planning and building regulation submissions
- Helping prepare presentations for clients and stakeholders

The role involves collaborating closely with architects and directors, participating in design reviews, coordinating information with consultants, and maintaining accurate project records. The Architectural Assistant will also engage in research, support visualisation and layout work, and contribute to the practice’s high standards of design quality and client service.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Drawings, with the ability to support design development from concept to detailed stages.
- Candidates should possess some knowledge on Technical Drawing skills, including accurate drafting and coordination of design information using relevant software.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing visual and verbal Presentations, including design reports and client-facing materials.
- Recognised Part 1 or Part 2 architectural qualification from an accredited school, or equivalent.
- Competence in industry-standard design and documentation tools is highly beneficial. We would expect applicants to have knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar BIM/CAD platforms; Adobe Creative Suite; and Windows Office.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage time and priorities, and willingness to learn from senior team members.
- Interest in a broad range of sectors, including community, heritage, and commercial projects; previous studio or practice experience is an advantage.
