Summary

To administer all aspects of engine wrapping and storage. To support 145 as specified under main responsibilities.

Main responsibilities

  • Carry out all periodic humidity inspections all stored engines
  • Maintain an accurate overview off all engine status and next due humidity checks
  • Liaise with customer regarding high humidity events and rectification
  • Ensure all engines are covered under a storage or 145 contract prior to engine bay input
  • Maintain a register of engine ownership
  • Coordinate with Sales to ensure all engines remain under storage or 145 contract as ownership transitions
  • Wrap all engines as per OEM requirements and/or as per customer request or contractual requirement
  • Ensure stock and serviceable tooling is maintained for all engine storage and wrapping tasks
  • Ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained in the engine bay
  • Ensure all engine storage or wrapping events are clearly identified, in a timely manner, to Sales
  • Manage a register for all engine cradles in 145 care
  • Carry out loading and unloading of all engines and cradles incoming or exiting ecube
  • Inspect and document (including pictures) all incoming engine cradles and engines (input, pre-wrap, post-wrap and pre-transport) liaise with customer for all engine cradle inspection findings and carry out simple repairs (replace components only) as per
  • Maintain a forklift license (up to 15 ton) to support 145
  • Gain and maintain crane driver authorisation to support 145
  • Gain and maintain fuel bowser driver authorisation to support 145
  • Support ecube line maintenance GSE movements as required
  • Gain and maintain Tug driver authorisation to support 145 and Disassembly movements as required
  • Maintain Rubb hangar carpark and grassland to an acceptable standard
  • Carry out waste collection from all 145 areas and dispose of to the Company delegate collection area.
  • Ensure all used oil cans are crushed daily and disposed of in the company delegated collection area
  • Carry out all local collections and drop offs as required (Upon procurement of ecube road registered vehicle)
  • Maintain the exterior 145 apron and working areas FOD free.
  • Carry out facility and equipment maintenance and support activities for 145 as required

Skills/experience

  • Engine wrapping experience advantageous
  • Aircraft Maintenance background advantageous
  • Proficiency in IT (outlook and excel)
  • Fluent in English
  • Valid UK/EU driving license
