Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Part 1/Part 2 Architectural Assistant role based in Little Aston. The Architectural Assistant will support the design and delivery of residential extension and renovation projects, contributing to concept development, technical drawings, and architectural documentation. Day-to-day tasks include preparing architectural drawings and plans, assisting with design presentations, and helping to coordinate information for the Design, Customise, and Build stages. The role involves collaborating with senior team members, communicating with clients and consultants, and maintaining accurate project records in the client portal. The Architectural Assistant will also support site-related activities, such as surveys and follow-up visits, ensuring design intent is clearly communicated and implemented.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Architecture with Part 1 or Part 2 qualification, and understanding of residential design and extensions.
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and preparation of accurate Architectural Drawings using relevant CAD or BIM software.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with clients, colleagues, and consultants.
- Ability to create and deliver visual and spoken Presentations to explain design concepts and project proposals.
- Attention to detail, good time management, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site studio environment.
- Knowledge of UK planning permission and building regulations is beneficial.
- Experience with digital project management tools or client portals is an advantage.
- A portfolio demonstrating design ability, technical competence, and interest in residential architecture.
