Sinclair Watt Architects is seeking a talented and motivated Part 2 Architect to join our growing practice in Methil, Fife. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to develop their career within a creative and supportive architectural environment.

We are looking for a proactive team member who is passionate about design, enjoys taking initiative, and is keen to contribute to a diverse range of projects from concept through to completion.

About The Role

As a Part 2 Architect, you will work closely with our architects and project teams, assisting in the design, development, and delivery of a variety of architectural projects. You will have the opportunity to expand your technical and design skills while gaining valuable project experience in a collaborative practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of architectural designs and technical drawings.
  • Support project delivery from initial concept through to construction stages.
  • Prepare planning, building warrant, and construction documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities.
  • Participate in site visits and project meetings.
  • Contribute creative ideas and technical solutions throughout the design process.

Candidate Requirements

  • RIBA/ARB Part 2 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Highly motivated, creative, and proactive approach to work.
  • Strong design and presentation skills.
  • Good communication and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
  • Experience with Revit is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes would be advantageous.
