Job Title: Part II Architectural Assistant Location: Carshalton, Surrey/South London Practice: KJC Architects Ltd

The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Part II Architectural Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to take on increased responsibility and contribute across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work across RIBA stages from concept through to completion
  • Produce high-quality design and technical drawings
  • Assist with planning applications, building regulations, and tender packages
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients
  • Attend site visits and project meetings
  • Support project delivery to deadlines and budget constraints

Requirements

  • Part II qualified Architectural Assistant. A Part I with significant UK experience may be considered.
  • Strong design and technical ability
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g. Adobe Suite essential, MicroStation and SketchUp beneficial)
  • Sound knowledge of UK planning and building regulations
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Desirable

  • Experience working on residential, commercial, mixed use and hospitality.
  • Experience in project running or leading small teams
  • Live locally to Carshalton, Surrey/South London.
