Part 2 Architectural Assistant – Cotswolds | £28,000-£33,000

If I worked in architecture, I'd love to work here.

Lots of work in conservation areas, high-end residential projects, contemporary architecture, listed buildings, and more...

Work with Revit (get training if you haven't before), support for progression (100% pass rate for RIBA Part 3), and be part of an employee-owned business (get a monthly cash bonus).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Sadly, I don't work in architecture, so I can't work here.

But you could!

You would be joining a medium-sized architecture practice of around 25 people, with the perfect mix of youth and experience.

Around 90% of the work is in conservation areas, so you’ll want to be passionate about that, or at least have an interest in that area of the industry! This includes a reasonable amount of listed building work.

As I mentioned, this business is employee-owned, so there’s more of a collective voice as to how certain aspects of the business run. What I love about this is the demonstration of a people-first culture; lots of companies say it, but not everyone shows it.
