Role Description
The Part 2 Scaffolder role is a full-time, on-site position based in Port Talbot, working across projects in South Wales. The role involves erecting, modifying, and dismantling various scaffolding systems in line with TG20:21 guidelines and company safety procedures. Daily tasks include:
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Selecting and loading materials
- Assembling structures such as access towers, edge protection, and temporary roofs
- Carrying out safety checks and inspections
The Part 2 Scaffolder will collaborate closely with site supervisors, other scaffolders, and clients to ensure safe access solutions are delivered on schedule. The role also includes maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to risk assessments and method statements, and completing any required site documentation.

Qualifications
- Valid CISRS Part 2 Scaffolder qualification and relevant on-site scaffolding experience.
- Strong understanding of scaffolding standards, TG20:21 compliance, and safe working practices at height.
- Ability to read and work from scaffolding drawings, plans, and method statements.
- Good physical fitness and manual handling capability for working with scaffolding materials and equipment.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills for coordinating with supervisors, colleagues, and site personnel.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across South Wales.
- Up-to-date health and safety training; CSCS card or equivalent is an advantage.
- Experience on residential, commercial, and new-build projects is beneficial, along with a reliable, safety-focused work approach.
