Role Description

The Part 2 Scaffolder role is a full-time, on-site position based in Warrington. Day-to-day responsibilities include erecting, altering, and dismantling scaffolding structures in line with industry standards and company procedures. The role involves:

  • Reading and following design drawings
  • Selecting and loading materials
  • Ensuring all scaffolds are safe, secure, and compliant with health and safety regulations
  • Working as part of a team on various sites
  • Carrying out checks and inspections
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and site contacts
  • Maintaining tools and equipment
  • Adhering to site rules
  • Completing required documentation or reports as needed

Qualifications

  • CISRS Part 2 Scaffolder qualification and relevant industry training (e.g., basic health and safety certifications)
  • Proven experience erecting, modifying, and dismantling tube and fitting scaffolds and system scaffolds on commercial or industrial sites
  • Strong understanding of working at height regulations, manual handling, and safe use of scaffolding equipment and PPE
  • Ability to read and interpret scaffold drawings, follow method statements, and comply with risk assessments
  • Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work safely and efficiently alongside other trades and site personnel
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
  • Valid driving licence and access to transport are beneficial; additional certifications (e.g., CSCS card, first aid) are an advantage
