Role Description
The Part 3 Architect will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering innovative spatial systems that integrate robotics and AI into architectural practice. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Leading and producing architectural designs
- Preparing drawings and specifications
- Coordinating with consultants and stakeholders
- Contributing to project planning and delivery
- Collaborating closely with our engineers and integration specialists to ensure architectural concepts work seamlessly with technical systems
- Supporting design research initiatives and documentation

This is a full-time role based in our research labs in Oxford.

Qualifications
- Strong background in Architecture and Architectural Design, with successful completion of RIBA Part 3
- Demonstrated ability in Project Management, including coordinating timelines, resources, and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience or familiarity with Software Development and Integration in the context of architectural or interactive systems projects
- Proficiency in relevant design and documentation tools (e.g., BIM software, CAD, parametric design platforms such as Rhino/Grasshopper or similar)
- Knowledge or interest in robotics, AI, or computational design, and willingness to work closely with technical specialists
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a research-driven environment
- Experience in delivering projects in the UK regulatory context, including planning, building regulations, and contract administration
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to evolving project requirements
