Glazzard Architects
Glazzard Architects create award-winning buildings and spaces that are progressive, thoughtful, and sustainable.
Our work is shaped by a talented team of designers collaborating within a supportive studio environment, where ideas are explored openly, and design excellence is continually pursued. We seek to respond not only to the aspirations and needs of our clients and end users, but also to the broader social, cultural, and environmental context of each project.
The practice has been run by Helen and Simon Rea since 2005, with the portfolio of projects extending to a rich and varied range of scales, typologies, and cultural settings. Our studio is located in the centre of Worcester, within a converted heritage building, formally home to Grainger’s Porcelain Works, which reflects our appreciation for craftsmanship, history, and adaptive reuse of historic structures.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
