We're working with an award-winning architectural practice renowned for delivering exceptional prime and super-prime residential projects for private clients. The practice has built an outstanding reputation for combining exceptional design with technical excellence, creating bespoke homes of the very highest quality. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a practice recognised for its exceptionally high standards of design, technical detailing and craftsmanship.
They are currently seeking a Part I Architectural Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on an initial contract basis. You'll gain valuable experience within London's prime residential sector, working on some of the country's finest bespoke homes. The initial contract is expected to run for approximately 2–3 months, with the possibility of extension as the practice's project workload develops. This role will particularly suit a graduate who enjoys the technical side of architecture and wants to develop their skills working on beautifully crafted, bespoke residential projects, rather than focusing solely on conceptual design.
The Role
Working alongside experienced Architects and Technologists, you'll provide technical support on a number of high-end residential projects, contributing to the production of detailed drawing packages and helping to coordinate information through the technical stages of design.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
