Part II Architectural Assistant – Glasgow

These are projects where architecture directly influences patient outcomes, scientific discovery and the performance of highly specialised environments.

What You’ll Do
- Contribute to the design and delivery of major healthcare, clinical and life-science projects across Scotland.
- Support senior architects in developing concept designs, technical packages and coordinated BIM models.
- Produce drawings, visualisations and documentation for complex, high-performance environments.
- Engage with clinicians, scientists, engineers and specialist consultants to understand the unique demands of healthcare and lab design.
- Build confidence across RIBA stages, gaining hands-on experience that will set you up strongly for Part III.

What We’re Looking For
- RIBA Part II qualification with a strong, design-led portfolio.
- Genuine interest in healthcare, science, technology or highly technical building typologies.
- Strong digital skills. Revit experience is ideal, but other BIM platforms are welcome.
- Curiosity, initiative and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Right to work in the UK is essential.
