Bring your passion for sustainable design and placemaking and contribute to the further growth of notable practices' housing sector.
Position:
This is a role to join a well-established team to design a range of high-quality UK housing-led projects from city scale to urban regeneration and strategic land. You will be exploring concepts, massing, and feasibility on a master-planning scale, coordinating with external authorities and bodies, as well as supporting the development of practice-wide design guidance and sustainable building codes for clients and stakeholders. This firm are busy and do not pigeonhole, so there will be opportunities to work on a range of projects and stages.
Candidate:
- Part III qualified architect
- Standout academic and career record with experience working at a named design firm
- Experience working on large UK residential projects from strategic master-planning to layouts and individual plots
- Strong design sensibilities and passion for sustainable principals
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and graphical
- A curious, pragmatic, and creative mind who can challenge ideas and themes with confidence
- Eagerness to contribute to the practice on a personal level as well as professional
- Revit, InDesign, and Sketchup

Studio:
This is a design-led architecture practice with a commercial edge who have been realizing spaces for people to live and work for over 30 years. Their portfolio spans master planning, new build developments, adaptive retrofit with interiors, and the reinvention of listed buildings, always turning challenges into opportunities and often in contested sites. As well as their buildings, they are known for their culture where everyone is entrusted, whatever level, to get on with their work autonomously and with support, take responsibility to grow their own careers.
