Experienced part II or recently qualified architect to re-invent existing buildings into contemporary hospitality led workplace projects.
Position:
After securing a number of new projects, this exciting young design practice is looking for a part II/III to contribute to the early design and development stages of workplace retrofit projects, although they do not pigeonhole and there would be opportunity to work across a range of scopes and stages. Where no day is the same, your responsibilities will range from designing concepts, feasibility studies, producing visuals, presentations and information for planning, tender and construction as well as supervising site works with a senior. You will have the opportunity to liaise directly with client, authorities and consultants, offering excellent experience to advance your career.
Candidate:
- Part II/III qualified
- Strong academic record with a well presented portfolio of your own work
- Experience working on high end commercial workplace projects, retrofit would be beneficial
- Strong design sensibilities, technical rigour and excellent communication skills including verbal, written and graphical
- A curious, pragmatic and creative mind who can challenge ideas and themes with confidence
- Eagerness to contribute to a small to medium sized on a personal level as well as professional
