Sumo UK is a growing British agricultural machinery manufacturer, designing and producing innovative cultivation and seeding equipment for farmers across the UK and international markets. With a strong focus on quality, innovation, and practical solutions, we’re proud to design and build our machines in Melbourne, East Yorkshire.
Due to continued growth, Sumo UK is looking for a Part-Qualified Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Maintaining and reconciling all ledgers
- Cash flow forecasting
- Statutory compliance, including VAT and PAYE
- Payroll administration
- Capital expenditure (CapEx) appraisal
- Project management support
- Inventory analysis and reporting
- Preparation of R&D grant applications
What We're Looking For
- Studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- A proactive, hands-on approach
