£30,000–£35,000 | Nottingham | On-site

Work directly with a Finance Director who reached director level before the age of 30, gain exposure across the whole finance function and follow a clear long-term progression path towards Finance Manager.

You’ll join a growing international business where you’ll have real responsibility from the outset and the opportunity to develop quickly.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the Finance Director with the month-end close process
  • Supporting specific areas including accounts receivable, accounts payable and credit control
  • Managing the contractor pay and bill process
  • Ensuring accuracy and control across financial processes and outputs
  • Supporting cash-flow management and working-capital visibility
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes

You’ll thrive here if you

  • Have around one to three years’ finance or accounting experience
  • Are working towards a recognised accountancy qualification
  • Work quickly without compromising accuracy
  • Communicate clearly and confidently
  • Take initiative and follow things through without needing to be chased
