Part-Qualified Management Accountant

OTP Group | Farringdon, London | £34,000–£40,000

Do you take genuine pride in getting the numbers right, every time? Are you looking for a finance role with real structure, a clear route to full qualification, and a business that values accuracy as much as you do?

The Role

OTP Group is building the financial backbone of a growing property and lettings group, and we're looking for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to be a core part of that.

This is a practical, hands-on role combining daily client accounts work with management accounts, cashflow reporting, and financial analysis. You'll have full ownership of your area, with clear processes to work within and direct access to the Founder and Managing Director whenever you need input or support.

There are no direct reports. This suits someone who enjoys getting deep into the detail themselves, working methodically, and taking real pride in accurate, well-organised books rather than managing a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process daily payments to landlords, contractors, and suppliers
  • Manage and reconcile Client Accounts and Overhead and Profit accounts
  • Maintain accurate client money records in line with CMP requirements
  • Complete bookkeeping across the group and its branches
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns and relevant Companies House filings
  • Produce monthly management accounts with clear commentary
  • Review branch performance and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Manage cashflow forecasts and provide scenario modelling
  • Support financial checks on potential acquisitions
  • Help integrate newly acquired branches into existing systems

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
