About you:

  • Currently working towards a 2.1 or higher in Finance or Accounting
  • Part-qualified, with some exams already completed towards CIMA or an equivalent qualification
  • Some practical experience in an accounting or finance role is desirable
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Maintains professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

  • Support the preparation of monthly management reports and accounts
  • Assist in reconciling balances and drafting revenue recognition journals
  • Process intercompany transactions and monitor intercompany balances
  • Help produce reports on financial and non-financial metrics for management
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including credit control
  • Contribute to payroll and expenses processing in line with company policies
  • Monitor departmental budgets and investigate variances
  • Assist in preparing documents for external audits and maintaining accurate records
  • Carry out bank reconciliations and support cash flow management
  • Perform routine financial administrative tasks and support broader projects to broaden experience
