We are looking for an experienced Sponsorship Sales Closer to conduct pre-scheduled sales calls and convert qualified prospects into sponsors for our international B2B virtual and in-person summits.

This is a part-time, call-based freelance position. There are no fixed daily working hours. Calls will be scheduled according to prospect availability, mainly during UK, European and US business hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-scheduled sponsorship sales calls.
  • Understand the prospect’s marketing objectives and target audience.
  • Present suitable sponsorship packages and event opportunities.
  • Handle objections, negotiate terms and move prospects toward closure.
  • Send call notes and recommended next steps immediately after each meeting.
  • Manage follow-ups for the calls assigned to you.
  • Secure verbal confirmation, signed agreements and payment.
  • Coordinate with the internal sales and finance teams after closure.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sponsorship, events, media or B2B sales.
  • Strong closing, negotiation and objection-handling skills.
  • Confidence speaking with senior marketing and business leaders.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Availability for scheduled calls during European and US business hours.
  • Ability to prepare before every call and follow up consistently.
  • International sponsorship sales experience is preferred.

Working Arrangement

  • Part-time and remote.
  • Work is based on scheduled prospect calls.
  • No requirement to work fixed daily hours.
  • Advance notice will normally be provided for each call.
  • The closer must attend confirmed calls punctually and professionally.
  • The closer will remain responsible for reasonable follow-ups on assigned opportunities until a final decision is received.

Compensation

  • Commission-based compensation on sponsorship revenue successfully closed and collected.
  • Commission applies only to opportunities and calls officially assigned to the closer.
  • Any fixed per-call payment, if applicable, will be agreed separately.
  • No commission is payable on cancelled calls, no-shows, unpaid agreements or refunded sponsorships.
  • Final commission terms will be confirmed in the freelance agreement.

Performance Expectations

  • Attend all accepted calls fully prepared.
  • Maintain accurate and timely call notes.
  • Complete follow-ups within the agreed timeframe.
  • Maintain professional communication with every prospect.
  • Consistently convert qualified opportunities into confirmed sponsorships.

This position is best suited to an experienced closer seeking flexible, performance-based work rather than a fixed full-time role.
