We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our finance team at our head office in Altrincham. This role is essential in driving the financial health of the business forward by minimising aged debt, reducing debtor days, and improving cash flow.
You will be a vital member of a friendly and professional team and have excellent communication skills working closely with all members of the practice.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience of working in an accounts receivable role
- Possesses a ‘can-do’ attitude with a proactive approach to work
- Can communicate in a professional and confident manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisation skills
- Good Excel skills and experience using finance systems

- Raising and processing client invoices accurately and efficiently
- Monitoring client accounts and maintaining accurate records
- Chasing outstanding debt and ensuring timely collection of payments
- Allocating incoming payments
- Building strong relationships with clients and internal managers.
- Supporting month end close activities and reporting requirements
- Producing aged debtor reports and monitoring credit exposure.
- Assisting with process improvements across the Accounts Receivable function
- Supporting the wider finance team as required
