Location: Cameron Toll Shopping Centre, Edinburgh, EH16 5PB

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

Hours: 6.25 hours per week

Days: Monday to Friday

Shift: 4:00pm – 5:15pm

Contract: Temp to Perm

Start Date: TBC


About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a reliable Part-Time Cleaner to work at a High Street Bank located within Cameron Toll Shopping Centre in Edinburgh. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering a regular 1 hour 15 minute shift each weekday, with no weekend working. The position could be ideal for someone living or already working locally who is looking for additional part-time hours.

Working Hours:

  • Monday: 4:00pm – 5:15pm
  • Tuesday: 4:00pm – 5:15pm
  • Wednesday: 4:00pm – 5:15pm
  • Thursday: 4:00pm – 5:15pm
  • Friday: 4:00pm – 5:15pm
  • Saturday & Sunday: No work

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the premises. Duties will include:

  • Cleaning customer-facing and staff areas
  • Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
  • Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
  • Wiping and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste
  • Replenishing consumables where required
  • General cleaning duties throughout the premises
  • Ensuring the site is left clean, tidy and presentable

Requirements

Requirements

Due to the nature of the site, successful applicants will need to complete the required pre-employment checks. You must:

  • Be able to complete a DBS check
  • Provide valid Right to Work documentation
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Be able to commit to the full Monday-to-Friday shift pattern
  • Be comfortable with lone working
  • Be comfortable with potential key-holder responsibilities and using an alarm panel
  • Be able to use a telephone-based time and attendance system
  • Previous cleaning experience is preferred
  • No credit check is required for this position
