Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this part-time role, you will play a key part in invoicing our clients, keeping our financial records accurate and up-to-date, and organising sales records, invoices and any other financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Xero accounting software
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Monitor cash flow and prepare forecast
- Track projects on Xero
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Raise and chase client invoices
- Pay supplier invoices
- Assist in reviewing prices and margins
- Process monthly payroll and pension contributions
- Prepare and submit VAT return
- Assist year-end closing procedures

Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in bookkeeping
- Proficient in the Xero accounting software as well as Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong communication skills
Salary
To be negotiated, based on your level of experience and salary expectations, however, a range of £150-£200/day is likely.
