Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this part-time role, you will play a key part in invoicing our clients, keeping our financial records accurate and up-to-date, and organising sales records, invoices and any other financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Xero accounting software
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare forecast
  • Track projects on Xero
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Raise and chase client invoices
  • Pay supplier invoices
  • Assist in reviewing prices and margins
  • Process monthly payroll and pension contributions
  • Prepare and submit VAT return
  • Assist year-end closing procedures

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping
  • Proficient in the Xero accounting software as well as Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong communication skills

Salary

To be negotiated, based on your level of experience and salary expectations, however, a range of £150-£200/day is likely.
