Part-Time Bookkeeper
Newport (Pye Corner)
£20,800 - £25,600 pro rata for 30 hours | £26,000 - £32,000 FTE
Monday to Friday | Flexible hours
We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join an industrial business based in Pye Corner, Newport.
The position is offered Monday to Friday, with the business open to flexibility around the hours and working pattern to suit the successful candidate. The advertised salary is based on a 37.5-hour working week, with the salary adjusted pro rata depending on the hours agreed.
For example, 30 hours per week would be £20,800 - £25,600, depending on experience.

- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Raising sales invoices
- Credit control and following up outstanding payments
- Processing payments and receipts
- Maintaining finance records and ledgers
- Assisting with month-end procedures
- Supporting general finance administration
About You
- Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounts role
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and transactional finance
- Experience using accounting software
- Good Excel skills
- Able to manage your own workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills

- Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 FTE
