We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Part-Time Business Development & Partnerships Executive to join our team!

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth by establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships, expanding our network, and identifying new business opportunities. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in shaping our company's future success while enjoying flexible working hours that fit your schedule. The Role

This is a flexible, part-time business development role focused on generating new DocTrain customers and developing referral partnerships. Hours can be scheduled to fit around your current commitments but must be able to accommodate the needs of the business when required.

Our new Business Development & Partnerships Executive will:

  • Identify and approach suitable UK SMEs.
  • Contact HR Managers, business owners, and other decision-makers.
  • Introduce potential customers to DocTrain and explain the benefits of the service.
  • Follow up enquiries and prospective customers.
  • Develop relationships with accountants, payroll providers, and other professional advisers.
  • Introduce the DocTrain Partner Programme to suitable organisations.
  • Arrange demonstrations or conversations with interested businesses.
  • Maintain simple records of prospects, conversations, and follow-ups.
  • Gather marketing intelligence to support the business in aligning its services and products effectively.
  • Help us identify new opportunities to grow the DocTrain subscriber base.

About You

We’re not looking for a high-pressure salesperson. We're looking for someone who is:

  • Confident speaking to businesses.
  • Friendly and professional on the telephone.
  • Comfortable using email and LinkedIn.
  • Organised and good at following up.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Able to explain a straightforward business proposition clearly.
  • Focused on building relationships rather than simply making sales calls.

Previous experience in business development, HR, recruitment, payroll, professional services, or B2B sales would be particularly useful.

Hours & Pay

  • 4/5 hours per week initially
  • £15 per hour
  • Plus:
    • £25 for every new paid DocTrain subscription generated
  • Additional incentives may be available for developing successful referral partnerships.
