Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the Business Operations Assistant include:

  • Gather, update and maintain market intelligence information provided by the Pricing and Vendor Management teams.
  • Conduct basic data analysis on pricing and supplier costs and prepare summary reports.
  • Maintain and organise documents and records within the Knowledge Management System and provide user guidance or training when required.
  • Support order entry in the BSS and conduct resource availability checks in the CRM system as required.
  • Coordinate the arrangement of internal training sessions for the S&D department.
  • Complete other reasonable tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.

  • Currently studying towards, or holding, a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics or another relevant subject.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to understand and summarise pricing and cost information.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when handling data and documents.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin Chinese would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across different teams.
  • A responsible and professional approach when handling confidential or commercially sensitive information.
  • Previous experience with CRM, BSS, knowledge management systems, pricing, vendor management or the telecommunications industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK and be available to work the agreed part-time schedule.
